Bostwick, a farmer at Ocilla, i; Georgia, upon being arrested for a mis demeanour, killed Davis, Chief of Poli« and 'Sheffield, deputy sheriff. Bostwic has now barricaded his house, and th militia has been summoned. When the militia stormed the hous thev found him dying of a gun sho wound received in the fight with th sheriff's posse. His five children wer around him uninjured. Bostwick ha since died.
