HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. By Telegraph—Press Association.. Wellington, Monday. The following report dated London, June 25, has been received from the High Commissioner:— Mutton.—The market is quiet but steady, with no change in prices. Canterbury 3%d, North Island 3%d. 'Lamb.—-Good demand for all lamb at last quotations, viz., Canterbury 5y g d, other than Canterbury 5%d. Beef. —The market has a small supply on hand; New Zealand 4%d, fores 3y B d. Butter.—The market is steady and fair business doing. Choicest New Zealand butter 109s, Danish Ilss, Siberian 100s. The cheese market is firm, with more inquiries for white at 57s 6d. There is a dull market for coloured at 54s Cd. The liemp market is dull and unset' tied. Forward shipment New Zealand good fair £24 ss, fair grade £22, fair current Manila £2l 10s per ton. The output for week for Manila was 21,000 bales. The cocksfoot seed market is firm and speculative on account of a report that the American crop outlook is very poor. Mr. Newton King has received the following cable from Sydney re hides: "Shade easier.''
