BUTIKI LOADING. •The Putiki is expected to leave Westport to-day for New Plymouth with, a cargo of coal. THE CORINNA. The Corinna, which arrived from S'O'utti on Sunday, brought 747 tons of cargo, including 2067 sacks of oate, 1393 sacks of potatoes, 528 sacks, 226 hundreds aijd 985 sacks of chaff, 255 bags of oatmeal, 295 sacks of wheat, 118 bags of rice, 120 cases of fruit, and 470 oases of kerosene. The Corinna left at 6 o'clock last evening for South, taking 400 boxes of butter. THE PUTIKI TO ARRIVE. The Putiki left Westport last night with a cargo of coal, for the local 'branch of the Westport Coal Company. »he will discharge on Thursday morning. THE TAKAPUNA. I The Union Company's steamer Taka- > puna is expected to leave Wellington on L Thursday for New Plymouth and Onehunga, to take up the Tarawa's running while tihat vessel is being overhauled.

THE PARITUTU. rphe Paritutu is expected' to be taken off the patent slip at Wellington tomorrow, and will complete her overhaul at the wharf. Sha is due here about Saturday. A NEW SHIPPING COMPANY. It is reported on excellent author' fv. says the Cbristchurch Press, that another steamship company, _ having its headquarters in Dunedin, is aibout to commence operations on the #oast, and will enter into competition with the steamers of the Canterbury Steamship Company in the Wanganui trade. It is stated that the new firm has ordered a steamer, which is practically a sister vessel to the Breeze, and that she will leave England about the end of the month for Dunedin. The vessel will trade between Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton and j Wanganui, returning south with coal from the West Coast for Bluff or Dunedifl. j OVERSEA VESSELS. FOR NEW PLYMOUTH.
