CANADIAN RAILROADS.

STRIKES THREATENED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received June 26, 5.15 p.m. Ottawa. June 25. The Grand Trunk /railroad employees have rejected the Arbitration Board's award, and will not accept a lower scale than that paid in the United States east of Chicago. The Canadian Pacific employees have issued an ultimatum that unless their demands are conceded a strike will be declared at ten o'clock to-morrow. The position is of the gravest.
