WANGANUI COLLEGE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. The Wanganui College Old Boys' Association met at Palmerston, and decided to build a chapel for the new school, at a cost of £SOOO, for which competitive designs are to be called for throughout New Zealand. WELLINGTON HARBOR CHARGES. Wanganui, Last Night. Owing to the seriously increased charges levied by the Wellington Harbor Board on transhipments at Wellington for various coastal por's, action is being promoted here by locM merchants, in conjunction with merchants of other places affected on this coast and the west coast of the South Tsland, with a view to diverting transhipments from Wellington to a cheaper 'transhipping port. The combination ,of importers at the various ports affected will be a very strong one, controlling a large volume nf the cargo now transhipped at Wellington.
