DRAPERY STORE BURNT. i?v Telegraph—Press Association. Tnvercargill, Last Nisrht. The dranery establishment of Raines I Bros, at Winton was destroyed toy fire this morning. There was an insurance on .the buildinsr of £250 in the Alliance, and the stock was insured for £SOO each in the Stanslard ami! State offices. The adjoining residence, oceupied hv Mrs. Henderson, was damaged. Tt was insured for £'2oo in the Commercial Union, and the furniture for £IOO. FIRE AT ASHBURTON. Ashburton, Last Xiuht. A house oj-Mk rooms, occupied by F. B. .'RoWlMnrdy4n ,\j'as with its contents sjutted by fire shortly after 3 o'clock this afternoon.
