It has 'been proved that the dMcry belonged to Cryer. , A: description of the body, however, in no way tallied with that of Cryer, who left his home in the Otago district on 16th May. An . entry in the diary said ' that he would leave Wellington at 6 p.m., the assumption being that Cryer liad sailed for Sydney. * Cryer's father stated that his son had peculiarly-mended teeth.
