Ai SUCCESSFUL TRIAL. Bf Cable—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, June 23. The Federal Government has received a report from Professor Biles, the naval architect appointed to supervise the construction of the destroyers, who states regarding the trials of the destroyer Parrainatta that everything was satisfactory. The mean speed during the eight hours' trial was 26.9 knots. The iastest single mile was run at the rate of 28.8 knots, and the oil consumption ■was well within the contract.
