MISSIONARY CONFERENCE.
RESTRICTIONS IN EGYPT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, June 21. A report .presented by Lord Balfour of Burleigh's Commission to the Missionary Conference protested against the restrictions placed by the Government on missionary work in Egypt and the Soudan and the deference paid to Mohammedans. Speakers stated that missionaries were forbidden to enter British Northern Nigerian cities without a Mohammedan Emir's .permission.
