The Dean of Norwich, addressing a Friendly Society congregation, said the accusation of King George's insobriety is a libel. His closest friends know that he was never intemperate. Even from a health point of view he has to be abstemious. It is equally untrue that the King had contracted a secret marriage and had children before his present mar--riage.
