SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Pres? Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast: The harometer has fallen nearly a third of an inch in the southern districts, but has made little movement farther north. Moderate and variable winds have prevailed and fine weather, except about East Cape. Present indications are for freshening northerly winds, increasing ■cloudiness and a change in the weather shortly southward of New Plymouth and Napier, with a falling barometer. Moderate easterly winds will probably prevail elsewhere, with fair weather and a slowly falling barometer.
