-DRIVING AIRSHIPS AND SUBMARINES. By Telegraph—Press Association. London, June 17. The West Australian engineer, A. G. Roberts, who is the inventor of a method of controlling dirigible airships and aeroplanes by means of Hertzian waves, has conducted satisfactory experiments in demonstration of his invention. It is also claimed that the method is applicable to submersible vessels and torpedoes. Received June 20, 1.20 a m. Sydney, June 19. Father Shaw, experimenting with wireless at Randwick, got signals from the station at New Guinea, manipulated by members of the mission station there.
