The Board of Cricket Control to-day cabled that the South African cnckei authonties declined to guarantee any amount, expressing the hope <hat the South Africans' decision not to vwit Australia without a guarantee was not teal, and pom ting out that the Marylebono Club's share on the last visit of the English team to Australia was on the same terms as those offered to the South Africans, namely £7600. \
