LIEDERTAFEL CONCERT. Patrons of the Liedertafel's sc«ond grand concert, which takes place next Wednesday, are to have a splendid programme placed before them. The soloists are Misses Alice Rimmer and Norah B. Ford, and .Mr. C. H. Anderson. They are all soloists oi merit, and it will bei Mr. Anderson's first appearance on a New Plymouth concert platform. The quartette and double quartettes have some nice numbers, which we know will be done full justice to. Those of our readers who attended the first concert in December last were very well pleased with the programme placed before them, and we are promised something better for this one. Tickets are reported to be selling well, and the Society anticipates a 'full house, which thev thoroughly deserve. Outsiders are v- *y fond of saying that New Plymouth ! s not a musical town. but. the Liedertafe! has done a lot towards dispelling this idea. The box plan will be opened on Monday morning, when seats can be reserved without any extra charge.
