The statement that Mr. Botha will not avail himself of Mr. Cecil Rhodes' bequest of Groot Schuur as his official residence is contradicted, and is now attributed to his opponents. The Daily Mail's correspondent states that very few of Sir J. R. Fitzpatrick's former supporters reside in Pretoria East.
