AX AUCKLAND SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. Arthur Frederick Buckland, a widower, aged forty, committed suicide in an Auckland boarding house this morning. He was found dead iu bed with a revolver bullet in his temple. He was a solicitor's clerk, and had recently been in hospital for bronchial trouble. DREDGE HAND .INJURED. Christchurch. Saturday. A hand on the dredge Lyttelton had his leg caught between the dredge and the tender. His leg was lacerated. BURNED TO DEATH. Oamarii, Saturday. The police have received intimation that a man named J, S. Adams, aoout twenty-four years of age, was burned i to death last night in a whare at .Ma-! rewhenua. Further particulars are not yet available. A BODY FOUND. ■ Greymouth, Yesterdav. The body of Minnie Glen, aged eight een, sister of the young man drowned off the dredge at Notown on Monday, was found washed up on the Cobden beach this morning. She left home on May 24, presumably gong to Wollin ton on the Arahura, and had not since been seen. SUICIDE AT THAMES. Thames, Last Night. Patrick Hogan, aged 2!). an unmarried man employed in the Tairua district, committed suicide at the Imperial Hotel in Pollen-street ,by cutting his throat with a razor. He returned from Auckland last night, and appeared all right. He had his meals as usual, tout was found this afternoon with his throat cut, and died shortly after. He has no relatives here.
