GRADING DAIRY PRODUCE
NEW ZEALAND'S REPLY TO ' VICTORIA. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received June 11, 0.30 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. Following upon a question raised by a recent deputation, the Minister for Customs sent a telegram to the New Zealand Dairy Commissioners, stating that it was alleged that grade marking and spot selling were detrimental to the interests of New Zealand producers. A reply has been received stating that neither grade marking nor spot selling were detrimental to th© producer in New Zealand. The mes>sage continues: "Manufacturers and exporters are satisfied that our grading marks for years past and compulsory grading have raised the standard of the quality and increased values." ,
