SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast:—The barometric pressure lias decreased everywhere, and especially in the southern district, until noon to-day, when the barometer stood at 29.05 at the Bluff. Northerly and westerly winds, strong to a gale, with rain, have been experienced in most .parts of the country. Present indications are for a heavy westerly 'gale, changing to southerly everywhere soon. Rain is probable generally, snow in the high country, and colder weather in all parts. A temporary ibreak in the weather may occur tomorrow in places, but the general indications are lor unsettled weather.
