Mr. McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, in Committee of Supply on the Navy, announced that the estimates provide* a, hospital ship, and it is hoped a second will follow. Admiral Lord Berrsford denounced the circulation in warships and libraries oi a pamphlet entitled "The Truth about the 'Navy," which, he said, was calculated to inilame animosity against another Power. EarJ Winterton said it was an open secret in the Navy that Admiral Lord Fisher was the author. Dr. T. J. Maenamara, Parliamentary Secretary to the Navy, replied that he had not seen the pamphlet, and did not know who was the author. He promised to enquire whether it was still to be seen in the libraries.
