SAILED. Onehunga, Last Night.—Sailed, at 3.15 p.m., Rarawa, for New Plymouth, crossing the ibar at 5.15 p.m. Passengers: Mesdames Foreman and Kneebone and child, Misses Foreman and Protheroe, Messrs. O'Driseoll (2), Heath, Foster, Spratt, Foreman, Brown, Blundell, J. Paterson, Meßae, J. Bennett, and 10 steerage. Westport, Last Night.—Himitangi arrived in roadstead at 4 p.m., and then sailed for Greymouth. .
THE RIMU. The Rimu arrived here from Onehunga and Kawhia on Wednesday afternoon, landing two passengers. The vessel left about midnight for Opunake and Wanganui. \
THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, which arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, Picton and Nelson, brought 271 tons of cargo, including 300 cases of kerosene, 306 bags of rice, 480 sacks of chaff, 255 bags of manure, and 252 cases of fruit. Transhipments were brought ex Ruahine, from London; Moana, from Newcastle and Sydney; Maitai, from Melbourne, Hobart and Bluff; Wimmera, from Sydney and Auckland; Monowai, from Dunedin; and Mararoa, from Lyttelton. The Rosamond proceeded to Onehunga after She will not return here to-morrow, but will proceed to AVellington direct from the northern port.
THE TE ANAU. Owing to the Koonya being delayed on the' West Coast the Te Anau picks up lrer running. The latter vessel is due here from the south on Tuesday.
GREYMOUTH BAR. A message from GreymOiit'h. ori Monday stated that ;a. change took place in shipping matters at that port that day. The tug went over the 'bar an hour before high water, and- the ■ harbormaster was aJble to record a depth of fifteen feef six inches at that time. At -once the Kennedy began to swing, -and was soon on her journey to Picton. Then , the Ngahere ileft, and was soon ..over the bar and on her journey to Wellington. Then ■followed the Waverley, Flora and Waimea. Meanwhile the boats in the roadstead that had been waiting their chance to get in proceeded to enter in the following order, as soon as the signal of four discs was hoister:—Kaitaugata, Defender, Koonya, Eaitoa, Alexander and Kaiapoi, and subsequently,, though on the fall 'of the tide, the passenger steamer Arahura, followed by the tug Westland, with the schooner Lily in tow.
THE CAMBRIAN tfApAGED. The cruiser Cambrian,; well known here, which arrived at Syct'ney on Saturday, May 21, after a rough trip, and showing signs of severe handling, went alongside Garden Island to carry out repairs prior to leaving for Jfffiiolk Mahd with Lord and Lady Chelmsford bn board. A new maintopmast was befog made at the depot, and meanwhile tohe wireless telegraphy gear was* fitted -fr#m the foretopmast to the * mainmstet. tn the storm the whole of the gear,attached to the maintopmast was carried away, s*>'» ' *—V • '■■"''
