It was hoped! that the vessel would .be able to get away to-morrow, but present indications are that she will have to remain another day. Yesterday the four hatches were working and the trucks were loaded most expeditiously. THE MOA. The Moa arrived from Westport early yesterday morning with 131 tons of coal ;for the Harbor Board. She left at 4.30 p.m. for Puponga, to load coal for Wellington. THE KOONYA. The Koonya has been delayed at Greymouth through 'heavy weather making the bar at that port unnegotiable. She was to have left last evening for Westport and Bluff and consequently it will be behind schedule time when she arrives ■here next week. FACILITIES AT THE PORT. The Moa, which brought a cargo of coal for the Harbor Board yesterday, was' the first vessel to berth alongside the Board's new bunkers ibuilt from the breakwater. Hitherto the coal required by the Board has had to go through the process of three handlings, but now a vessel is able to discharge direct into the 'bunkers, a great saving of time and expense. There is plenty of water at I the berth and the Moa was aible bo I shift her (position at dead low water. A larger vessel will be able to discharge here, but until the arrival of the new dredge it is not desired that larger quantities of coal should be stocked than that which can ibe (brought here by vessels of the carrying capacity of the Moa. It is intended to always keep on hand a reserve to supply shipping if ailed upon to do so. OVERSEA VESSELS. FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Viganella, left Liverpool March 12, due about end of June.
