* ' —■ SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast are as follows:—The barometer rose everywhere last night, and moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed, with cloudy and foggy weather in most parts. Present indications are for a falling barometer shortly in the south, with freshening northerly winds, and increasing cloudiness for a storm are approaching from the westward. Cool and changeable weather probably in the north, with a falling tendency in the barometer, and variable winds.
