As a sequel to the assault committed by one player on another after a football match" at the Hutt, John Marshall was to-day fined 20s and costs.

Palmerston North, Yesterday
At the S.M. Court this morning nearly all the flax millers in the distinct were fined £1 and costs for neglecting to send the secretary 'of the union a _ list of employees within one month of the coming into operation of the new award.
