COMPETITION AT WANGANUI. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The sixth annual competition of the Second Battalion of 'Wanganui Rille Volunteers for the Battalion Rifle Shield took place on Putiki range to-day. Weather conditions were not favorable for good shooting. The best individual score was 100 out of a possible 105. made by Private Kells of the Palmerstoin North Rifles. The shield wns won by the Wanganui Rifles with a score of !)26, Palmerston North Rilles scoring 912, Manchester Rifles (Feilding) 8!)4.
