LORD PLUNKET.
FAREWELLED BY ARCHITECTS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. Lord Plunket, the first Patron of the New Zealand Institute of Architects, was presented this morning with an appreciation t'areweil address by that body. The address was unique in artistic simplicity, showing a happy blending of black letter with Maori ornamentation. Lord Plunket, in reply, sand his criticism of architecture in New Zealand some time ago did not refer to the work of professional architects.
