CANADIAN IMMIGRATION

I . NO CHANGE IN REGULATIONS. By Uablc—Press Association —Copyright. Received June 2, 9.30 p.m. London, June 2. Explanation is given that it would be inaccurate to say that the Government protested! against the new Canadian immigration regulations. It only asked for information and forwarded protests from British charitable and other organisations to Canada. Canada, however, does not intend to change the regulations. The possession of £5 and a ticket to destination was necessary to enable immigrants to seek employment instead of settling in the congested centres.
