UNION WITH GREECE DESIRED. By Oable—Press Association—Copyright deceived June 2, 10.30 p.m. Candia, June 2. The Cretan Executive Committee addressed a note to the Powers, declaring that Crete cannot live without its Greek institutions, and requesting the Powers to bring about the only solution, by .promoting a union between Crete and Greece. The official opinion is that the naw' 1 claim imposes on the Powers the necessity of considering the situation courageously, with a view to a definite solu-j lion.
