SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast is as ' follows: Moderate southerly winds have prevailed northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and westerlies' elsewhere. The barometer has continued high in the north, but fallen a little in the south to-day. The weather has been fine in most parts. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds and fair weather, tout with increasing haziness generally. A chance of wind and weather is likely to take place in the northern districts after to-morrow, with falling barometer. Conditions) are somewhat unsettled in the far south to-night, 'but the barometer will probably rise again soon.
