ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FATALITY AT OTIRA. By Telegraph—Press Association. (Jhristchurch, June 1. The Star's Otira correspondent telegraphs that Flank Brosnan, a timberman employed at the tunnel at Otira, was killed this morning. He was knocked down by a rake of trucks, which run over him. Brosnan whs a steady man, and a native of Ireland, lie lias an uncle at Seadown. A WOMAN'S SUDDEN END. Westport, Last Night. Mrs. A. Young. wife of the engineer of the Westport Harbor Board, was found dead lying 011 a bed. where she had gone for rest about 4 o'clock this afternoon. Her family includes Mr. H. A. Young (S.M. Queenstown) and Mr. .1. H. Young (Government Irrigation Engineer in Otago).
Chrislehurch, Last Night. Frederick William Isaacs, aged about sixty, was found dead in his room at Mrs. Broadwood's boarding house, Salisbury street, at a quarter to seven o'clock this evening. He was a married man, and bis wife resides in. Sydney. He was attended by a medical man. Deceased was well known in town, and for some time past had been a doorkeeper at the Theatre Royal.
