BARRY'S NEW TRAINER. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright Received June 1, 8.10 p.m. Perth, Last Night. Files of the London Sportsman, referring to Phelps' appointment as Barry's trainer, says: "He is considered the second fastest sculler in the United Kingdom, and the most successful coach we have. Another thing in his favor is his practical knowledge of boatbuilding. The race will 'be decided wiliere the inhabitants have not seen a. sculling boat so Phelps' ability to repair any possible- accident gives confidence to those in England."
