INGLEWOOD NOTES
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Elthain is to have a new town hall. Is Inglewood to remain behind? One of Inglewood's 1 leading drapers has purchased a corner section in the centre of the town, and intends to erect an up-to-date building. The Borough Council will instal concrete water channels in parts of the 'borough not having them. The recent Wesleyan May Fair Bazaar was a success, and the sum of £GO or £7O was realised. A thanksgiving service will he held in the church on Sunday evening next. Ingle wood's Debating Society has emerged from the vortex of discussion. The Society is under the auspices of the Druids Lodge, and meetings will be held in tlie Druids Hall. The annual meeting of subscribers' to' the Inglewood Library had to be postponed on account of the small attendance. No appointment of an Anglican minister has been made to fill the vacancy caused by the Rev. Thomas' resignation. At present the services are conducted by lay readers.
