Burroughs, Welcome and Co., the famous chemists, interviewed Sir Joseph Ward with respect to Customs taxation 011 anti-toxins, tuberculins, <ind vaccines, which are at present ruled to he subject to a duty of 22'/I. per cent, ad valorem. The Prime .Minister promised to lay the matter before the Minister of Customs.
