PALMERSTOX CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston Xorth, Last Night. The Manawatu Caledonion Societv has ! decided to match R. J. .Scott, of Stratford, with Gordon Smith, of Pahiatua, at the next Caledonian meeting, on 16th June, for £2O a-side. catch-as-eatch-ean. Smith beat Scott at the last Caledonian meeting, hence the match. Stokes, a runner at last meeting, was disqualified for sending incorrect records of his previous performances.
