tOCAL BILL. juriCE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Council of the Borough of New Plymouth to promote and endeavor to have tpassed law at _- the next ensuing Session of Pi-'lament, V a Bill, the short title whereof s '"The New Plymouth Racecourse Reser- 3 Leasing Act, 1910." The objects which the Bill is iv';ended •to effect are: — To vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth (hereinafter called "The Corporation") all the powers conferred upon a Leasing Authority under "The Public Bodies' Leases . Act, 1908," with respect to all that parcel of land in the Town of New : Plymouth containing by admeasurement 12 acres 2 roods and 15 perches (more or less), bounded towards the North by Hendrie j . Street, towards the East by Allot* . ment marked F on the plan of the } Town Belty towards the South by / .the last-mentioned Allotment and by Town Allotment numbered a .1927, again towards the East by the last-mentioned Allotment, to- -p wards the South by Allotment g marked' E on the plan of the Town ri Belt, again towards the East by *• the last - mentioned Allotment, again towards the South by the . said Allotment marked E, and to- ( wards the West by Eliot Street. To enable the Lessee of any part of the said land to erect thereon any dwelling-house of business premises. To provide for the appropriation of not ] less than £2OO per annum out of the revenue derived from the leasing of the said land in aid of any Public Park, Reserve, or place of Public Resort in the Borough of New Plymouth or elsewhere in the •Provincial District of Taranaki. To release the said land from the pro- ■ visions of "The New Plymouth ! Recreation and Racecourse Reserve ; Act, 1887." A copy of the Bill, together with a plan and survey of the land referred to, has been deposited in the Magistrate's Court at New Plymouth, and is open to public inspection.
