'' SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C, Bates' •weather summary and forecast: —Strong southerly winds and unsettled weather On Saturday evening and Sunday morning were followed by fine weather on Sunday. A change took place during the Bight, when the barometer again fell everywhere, with strong northerly and westerly winds. Present indications are for a westerly gale with rain in most .parts of the country. Rivers will be flooded on the West Coast. The barometer will probably fall for a few hours, but the winds will probably veer to the southward. The weather will be showery and colder, and snow will fall on the higher level and south. The barometer will probably rise fast tomorrow in the south. ,
