THE FIELD SERVICE UNIFORM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, May 28. The new field service uniform to be issued to the Xew Zealand Territorial force will be of khaki, with a tinge of green, and the only mark of distinction between the various ranks a.id battalions will -lie a narrow strip of colored piping in the shoulder straps, together with a brass regimental, number and a badge. Colors have been fixed ns follows':—
Field and garrison arti'lery, No. 1 mounted regiment,. No. 1 hifantry battalion, scarlet.
Engineer services. No 2 mounted regiment, No. 2 inf.uit-y battalion, blue.
No. 3 mounted regiment. No. 3 infantry battalion, and New Zealaad veterinary corps, maroon, ■ Army Service Corps, white. Medical services drill, clerry.
