Suddenly 'half-a-dozen voices raised a cry, "Up with him, boys," and as many big fellows surged forward to lift tlie Labor leader| to their-shoulders. "No, no, my friends," said Mr. Fisher, looking grave, 'T never allow anything like that." He then proceeded 1 to thank them all for the cordiality of their reception, and the splendid way in- which the workers of New South Wales had responded to t«v party's appeal for support.
