HAMILTON-MAXWELL DRAMATIC COMPANY. " REVENGE."
The performance of the Allan Hamilton and Max Maxwell Dramatic Company takes piace on Monday evening, 30th inst., at the Theatre Koyal, wnen that stirring military drama, "Revenge," will be-seen for the first time in New] Plymouth. The piece will be staged in] the same elaborate way a»' it was pco-i duced in Sj'dney arid Melbourne by Mr. Bland Holt, with whom the new linn have made an extensive contract for the production of many of his repertoire. The play, which is by the well-known E. llill Mitchelson, is a stirong one, jndj deals with many exciting and thrilling scenes and situations. The vwtuiues are! magnificent, being the same as made in Loudon for the original Australian production, the scenery specially ipainted oy that most capable artist, the fate Jno. Brun-ton, and the various accessories and properties of the most complete character. The company is a well organised one, the principals have been with Bland Holt companies during a number of years, and are all capable artists, of whom the metropolitan press s'peak most highly. Theatregoers of New Plymouth and district are in for a rare 1 treat, and we .predict a packed house for our visitors. The booking office is at Collier's, and the plan is now on view;.
