Renter's New York correspondent advises that the Blucfields party from the Venus boarded and searched the American schooner Esfuerzo in defiance of the Washington Government's ruling that the Venus had forfeited her right of search. INSURGENTS COMPLETELY DEFEATED. Received May 27, 12.35 a.m. London, May 20. Advices show that the insurgents were completely defeated at Bluefields Bluff, Nicaragua.
