The crew of Captain Scott's Antarctic vessel Terra Nova numbers sixty, and includes three champion boxers of the Navy. The vessel calls at Madeira, the Cape, and Australia, and then after four weeks goes on to New Zealand. The amount collected practically amounts to £40,000. Captain Scott has tested his motor sledges, and expects by their help to travel from ten to fifteen miles daily. )
