Following is the 'Rev. D. C. Bates' ■weather summary and forecast: —The barometer lias fallen everywhere, and the weather has been coo! and changeable, showery on the West Coast and in the southern districts. Westerly winds have prevailed, and a gale hag continued in, Foveanx Strait. The present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere, with strong westerly winds and cloudy and unsettled weather. The barometer will probably continue low in the south for ?. few days, and Tain will probaDlv be general. A southerly may be expected about Monday night, with a rising barometer to-mor-row.
