ANNUAL SMOKE CONCERT. The annual smoke concert ot in? New Plymouth Port and Telegraph Officers' Association was held Inst evening. Apologies were received from the Chief Postmaster and other departmental heads for their unavoidable absence. In the absence of the chief, Mr. M. E. Fookes made a capital chairman, l'he gathering was successful in every way, a result due to tlie management committee and the secretary (Mr. D. Mulvey).
