SUMMARY AND FORECAST. | By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C Bates' summary and forecast:—The weather (has been showery on the West Coast s«id southernmost districts of the South Island, unsettled in the for north, and cold and changeable .elsewhere. High pressure continues in the far north, but a fall has been experienced everywhere to-day, and especially in the south. A westerly gale has been experienced in Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for strong westerly winds, with unsettled and cloudy weather generally. Rain probable on all the western coast, and south of New Plymouth and Napier.
