CELEBRATIONS IN SYDNEY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received May 24, 9.15 p.m. London, May 24. Empire Day was celebrated at the schools in the usual way, and quietly in the city, Twenty thousand people gathered in the front of the Post Office and sang "Rule Britannia" and the National Anthem, and concluded by giving thre cheers for King George.
