COLONISATION.
TRAINING OF LADS. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright London, May 2?. The Rev. R. L. Gwynne's colonisation committee has considered the trustees' decision to grant £IBOO per annum for the training of 100 to 150 lads. I'hey suggest that only 50 to 100 country lads should be sent out the first year and that the age be lowered to 16 or 17. They also propose that the trust \es should advance £SOO towards their passage money, to be afterwards collected from the lads.
