Tim extraordinary spectacle of tire moon's eclipse in the east, and the brilliant comet showing at the same time in the north, witnessed last night. These are passed and will become historv. An important event which will affect the ifuture of Taranaki is the Winter Show to be opened on June 8 and continuing for four days. Let everybody do their duty to Taranaki and that sbovr will prove on important factor in the advancement and progress of the district. Nearly all the space is booked'. Entries close on Saturday next.
