SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington May 21. At the Supreme Court to-day Herbert Bridge Thornton, on a charge of forgery and uttering at Wanganui, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, and Douglas Leighton to three months on a similar charge. ASSAULT AND ROBBERY. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court yesterday, Edward Wilfred Kelly and Alexander Driscoll were convicted of assaulting George McAllister in Wellington with intend to rob him. James Cummings and John Femiessy were found guilty of assaulting John Joseph Patterson in Wellington and robbing him of a watch. Sentence in each case was deferred till Monday.
