Representatives of butter factories, dairy farmers, and 'others interested in the industry are, at the invitation of the Minister of Agriculture (Hon. T. Mackenzie), .holding a conference at Wellington to consider what la-re the best steps 'to take for the pasteurisa.tion of skim milk and whev before it is returned to the settlers for consumption by calves and pigs. The conference is not open to the Press. It is understood, -h-owoyer, that the subject was fully discussed, and the discussion will serve the useful purpose iof preparing tihe representatives of the indlUHtay for a proper presenilation of .the latest information regarding it at the Dairy Conference at the National Dairy Show.
