Mr. Hoby is a nephew of Messrs. George and Oliver Hoby, and Mrs. Enroth, of New Plymouth. Mr. T. (Tony) Bristol, of the local postal staff, has been transferred to Auckland, and -left by last night's .boat. His place will be filled at the locax office by Mr. Pipe, of Wellington. Prior to hi* departure Mr. Bristol was presented with a set of silver-backed hair brushes by his fellow-workmen. 'Mr. Bristol was well known in local swimming circles.
