PUBLIC LIBRARY*. The report and balance-sheet of the Inglewood Public Library for the year ending 31st March, 1910, for presentation to the .annual meeting of subscribers, iwihic'h will be held in the Borough Council Chambers on Friday, ZtVh inst., is now being circulated l . The report states that sjnee the last annual meeting arrangements 'have been made for the use by subscribers of the booxs in the reference library, tne principal condition being tHuat each subscriber desiring to take a book away must sign a receipt for it. The number of subscribers is now larger than at any time since the establishment of the library. A supplementary catalogue was printed in July and issued to tnose who had bought catalogues; another supplement is now in the press. The thanks of the subscribers are due to the proprietors ■far free copies of newspapers.
